A leading information provider based out of US, providing commercial real estate information, analytics and online marketplaces had an imperative need to gather property data for a large scale area. Mobius extracted details related to a property with ownership details, tenant details, lease details, and leads related to lease or sale.
Challenges we faced
The client was looking for details which covered not only the present ownership but details which trailed back a few years. Collecting the past data proved to be a tedious and time-consuming process. A huge volume of filings had to be covered in our data extraction process.
How we solved the problem
Mobius was able to devise an automated process to aggregate all the details. Property details were extracted from SEC filings and updated in the client database with the help of County Assessor links.
- Company (tenant) details were extracted from SEC filings and updated in client database with the help of company homepage
- Lease details were extracted from SEC filings and updated in the client database
- Leads related to Lease or Sale were extracted from SEC filings and delivered to the client
Results
The data aggregated through SEC filings and web research by Mobius process reduced more than 20% of tele calling and field research effort applied to collect information regarding the property, tenant and deal. As the information was enriched and maintained on a regular basis, the client had an edge over their competitors.
