The Business Need

A leading fashion retailer based out of Europe who has online sales channels in 31 regions across Europe had a requirement to monitor 7k SKUs from 3 competitor websites across 7 regions on a weekly basis.

Challenges we faced

  • The volumes of products required to be monitored were huge and mapping products for the fashion industry were difficult as each retailer would have different naming conventions and the basis of identification was through images
  • Product mapping was based on variants (color, size, material etc.)
  • Websites were multilingual and product mapping was a challenge
